design

Vapefly went with an interesting theme for this one. Their slogan is "Manners Maketh Man" and much of the marketing material speaks of this being a professional, personable, personable and made for gentlemen.
They say Manners pod was created with 5-axis CNC cutting technology and top-level anodizing craftsmanship.
I don't know much about machining, but just some quick googling shows that 5 axis cutting means they use a machine that can work on five axis instead of three in basic processing. I don't know if this is different from the way any other devices in the e-cigarette industry are molded, but I think it's nice that they use the best processing technology.
As far as I know, anodic oxidation appears to be a method of producing an oxide film on metal. I won't go into all the technical details but it does seem to increase the metal's resistance to wear and corrosion.
Manners pouch measures approximately 5" long, 3/4" wide and 1/2" thick.
Features
This device can be fired using either pull activation by blow or manual activation by pressing the firing button. I've seen this on other new devices and I think it's a really cool idea. Some people like to get a hit by drawing from the device and some prefer pressing a button. And I actually prefer the button so I'm glad they included both.
On the Manners machine, I tend to get errors in the auto-pull mode because I don't hit it hard enough. I wouldn't say that this is a problem that is specific to this device only. I get it with a lot of graphic activated devices. But with the fire button, it's a nice solid hit every time.
centuries

The capsules are single pieces with embedded coils, so you cannot remove the coils from the capsule. These pods hold a maximum of 2ml of liquid, which I think is typical.

To fill the capsule, open the silicone plug on the side and fill it up.

To insert the capsule, simply drop it into the device and it will click into place. What's also nice is that the Manners device has a liquid window on either side of the body so you can see how much liquid is in the capsule.
coil

The files are mesh files that use organic cotton imported from Japan. They also say that the files use the sixth generation Honeycomb architecture. So this should give you better flavor and a smoother hit.
There are two cartridges in the box, each with a different coil:
1.4 ohm cartridge
The draw is a gentle mouth to lung hit. I would have liked it to be a little more restrained but it's actually just as good as it gets. The flavor I get is also very good.
1.0 ohm cartridge
The draw on this case is the same as a 1.4 ohm coil. The flavor from this file is also good. It has really good flavour.
air flow
The air flow gives you a nice bound graphic. It's not as tight as I usually like with pods but it's pretty close. I think its good.
Mouthpiece

The mouthpiece has a slightly tapered end. It also has a slanted design on one side of it, which they say has proven to be more comfortable and stylish.
So one of the interesting things about this mouthpiece is that because of the tilt, it's more comfortable to smoke from the side of your mouth than the front. They mention this in their marketing materials too which is funny because they say you shouldn't vape with the front of your mouth but instead you should vape from the side like a gentleman. Personally I think this is a bit of a disadvantage because I like to vape with the front of my mouth and it's hard to get a good hit that way. But from the side, it hits perfectly.
battery

There are three different LED colors showing battery levels
- Green = more than 70% charged
- Blue = 30 to 70% charge
- Red = less than 30% charge
The Manners has an internal 650mAh battery that charges using a USB-C cable. For a device this small, I think the battery is pretty big so I'm happy with that. And since they use a USB Type C cable, the device can quickly charge in just 40 minutes.
leather bag

Something that you can purchase separately for the Manners is a leather case. There are three colors of the leather case and each one comes with a matching lanyard. The rope thread is not leather but more like a cotton thread. I wanted the thread to be leather as well.

I don't usually carry a device in a case with a lanyard on it, but this little cover is actually very cute. And I think that it being leather really fits with the theme of sophistication that Vapefly is going for here.
Final thoughts

I can't say whether Manners is better than Caliburn or not, but I've used Xros and love it. I think morality stands well against the Xros. It's hard for me to pick a winner actually. I love both of them.
The Manners are really neat, looks good, works well, the flavor is really good both coils, have a nice draw, and I like having both the auto-pull and release buttons. Overall, I think it's a nice pod. The only thing I don't care about is the elbow mouthpiece but that's not really a big deal.
