Key Features
This is a single file 22mm MTL RTA and to be honest not much has changed from the original BSKR V1.5. This was the tank I didn't get my hands on if you remember, and I'm happy to say I had no issues with the top cap...but as you will see the replaceable mouthpiece will not come loose...
Well, the main change - or just the change - from the original Berserker is the deck airflow and the V1. 5 Mini has exactly the same setup as its bigger brother. Instead of a round air port it has been swapped to a slot which means air will now hit all of the coil and not just a small part. As for whether this improves the flavor in the Mini, we'll see.
Apart from that, only the size has changed.
Build quality and design
Again I have a problem disassembling the tank. In this case, by adding a spare delrin mouthpiece, I assumed the finned mouthpiece would loosen. Again I tried everything but couldn't get it off...and I sent two and they both stuck in there tighter than a duck's ass...
Come to think of it, the model I'm reviewing is a "production demo" model, so maybe the retail versions can untie the screws...let's hope so...
The design hasn't changed much but you do get the option to change the way it looks - not just the mouthpiece. The metal tank gives you an extra 5ml capacity as well as the extra protection and looks good too.
Maybe you're bored of saying it - but only the size has changed...
How does Vandy Vape BSKR V1.5 Mini MTL RTA work?
I found this build to be a little tricky to build since it's obviously a smaller surface, but it's really about as easy as it gets. Unscrew the flat heads [there are cross threads in the box] Drop the files in and tighten them down - easy!
I have a problem with wicking the first round. I put a lot in, and while I didn't get dry blows, the vape wasn't very good. I really combed the legs and let them sit over the wick ports and voila - it got a lot better.
I've been using my very own Black Note e-liquid and really got a deep, crisp flavor with a lovely throat hit as well. But oh my gosh, this is a tight vape and not much of a difference if I'm being honest between the 5 settings: 1mm - 1.2mm - 1.4mm - 1.6mm and 1.8mm and that's exactly what I found with the larger version.
I prefer the MTL vape than what I got from both of the BSKR V1. 5 RTAs, so if you like narrow and I mean narrow draw, this definitely works for you and definitely what they call a 'MTL fit'.

Final verdict
Not much to say really except again it's just a smaller version of the original v1.5! I honestly can't say more than that...
Since the original ended up in the trash due to damage from trying to take apart the bloody thing, I can't honestly compare the flavors either. What I can say is the flavors I got from the included coils - MTL ultra smooth clapptones built in - very good indeed with decent vapor as well.
Hopefully, the mouthpiece on the retail versions has been taken out so you can swap it out for flippers and the metal tank looks cool.
Sorry, sounds like this was a flat review - but there's not much to talk or get excited about!
If you have the original v1.5 and want one for a smaller mod, go for it.
